عن المركزAbout the Markaz

A house of learning for the language of revelation.

Al-Asaas Center — مركز الأساس— was founded to make the study of Arabic and the Qur'an accessible to sincere students, regardless of background or starting level. The name itself, al-Asaas, means the foundation: our work is to plant that foundation deeply, then build upon it patiently and methodically.

We teach through the traditional curriculum of the people of knowledge — beginning with the elementary works in grammar and morphology, progressing through reading, comprehension, and expression, and pairing every stage of language study with the recitation, memorisation, and meaning of the Noble Qur'an.

Classes are offered both in small group settings and one-on-one, with separate tracks for men, women, and children — so that every student learns in an environment that is appropriate, focused, and encouraging.

Classical Method

Grounded in the books that scholars themselves were raised on.

Qualified Teaching

Instruction by students of knowledge committed to clarity over speed.

Patient Pace

Every student is met where they are — there is no rushing the foundation.
